Tamara Kleijwegt, DVM

• Born in The Netherlands
• Graduated: State University Utrecht, the Netherlands (2003)
• Working experience: predominantly on companion animals as a locum vet at Zaandam, the Netherlands before joining the VKA team of veterinarians in May 2004 until May 2006 and then again since April 2007
• After having eight cats (not all at the same time), a rabbit, a mouse, scorpions, a Red-eared slider (Trachemys scripta elegans), a hamster and some gold fish, she now has Oscar, a fine example of the Aruban Shephard or Arubian Criollo Dog
• Dr. Kleijwegt enjoys windsurfing, reading books on the beach and dancing
